Today I discovered that my new still camera also takes videos! So here is my first attempt – I will do a better one later once I’ve worked out what goes where. This is unedited with all its flaws. Enjoy!

You are a remarkable woman, I salute you.

Your Janie is like our Maris.
One of my boys and I are getting stuck into our veggie garden. A whole heap of people I’ve never met before are popping over on Sunday to start a sustainable gardening group, so he was really interested to see what you’ve done with the garden. It’s nice to see a 17 year old with dreads really interested in how you’ve staked your tomatoes!
thanks for sharing your house and garden with us Sara. Absolutely gorgeous!
I love the gazebo in your garden where you read. Your cats are beautiful too =D
Can’t wait for the next video!
Oh Sara, this is wonderful, it made my day. One day I hope to have a garden like yours, especially the cat enclosures, my cats would love that.
What a clever girl..talking AND walking while showing off…grin ..it’s looking good Sara!!
Wow, perfect. So huge! Lovely, faboulous and daunting all at the same time.
I enjoyed the tour of your little corner of paradise. You have so many cosy areas – wish I could leave autumn here in England for an hour and pop over for a spring cup of tea with you in your lovely garden. You have made a very creative area look soooo relaxing.
Well done! I enjoyed being able to see your garden in the flesh (so to speak). It is looking really lovely!
Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. I thoroughly enjoyed looking round your garden and inside you home. Your cats are delightful, particularly the alluring Lady Jane Grey! I felt like I was actually visiting you; made myself a “cuppa” and put my feet up and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. An excellent debut to the “movie business” Sara!
well done i was amazed of the beauty of the secret garden you have now all can see it is absolutely beautiful . i love your special reading spot in the garden actually i just loved it all. well done sara
Lovely and serene both inside and out with your abundant birdlife, gorgeous cats and marvellous garden. I came away feeling very refreshed after I had viewed this video.
How do you find time to write books too! That garden and house looks like a full time job:)
Hi, We haven’t heard from you for a little while here and I just wanted to say a quick hello and hope that you are ok and keeping well. After the beautiful ‘tour’ of your home and garden in October I can imagine how busy you must be right now. Hope that it is all coming along just the way you planned. The flower bed you mentioned, with all of your favourite flowers growing in it, was such a great idea – I hope it is all taking shape and you are beating the battle with all the hungry snails (that I have in my garden). We are swathed in a blanket of snow here in England at the moment. It is very beautiful – but it is also day 3! – and after being snowed in for that time I am beginning to go a little stir-crazy. Best wishes.
Hi Sara,
Thanks for sharing your home and garden. It is funny, I have read an awful lot of your writing, but this is the first time I have heard your voice!
Your garden is lovely, and the peaceful green colour you have painted your walls makes a lovely haven. I have seen the pictures, however, it is all a bit different on film.
Best wishes, hope things are going well.
Hi Sara,
Loved the video. Thank you for sharing and letting us into a little corner of your life.
Have noted that you have not added anything to your BLOG for some some time. I hope that all is well.
All the best for 2011
Mike
Hi Sara,
Great video!!! ☺☺ I am checking time by time your website for new ones. Your garden looks amazing to me. I don’t have a garden but I really want one. Until recently, I didn’t have even a balcony. Two years ago I tried to grow tomatoes, basil, parsley, and thyme in my kitchen. I must admit that I had some success but not as much as I expected. This year however, I have a balcony and I want to try again to have my own little garden. Can you advice me what will be the best vegetables I could grow? Probably, you never had the balcony garden experience but since you have such a great imagination I dared to write for asking your opinion. I hope my demand is not too odd. I wish you all the best.
By the way, I am waiting full of excitement your new novel to be published.
Hi Sara
I’m on the mainland so not sure if there is anything I can do except send my good wishes, but if there is be sure to let me know.
Cath

Hello Sara, I pop over once in a while to see if you have updated. I do hope you are feeling well and enjoying your Australian summer. I enjoyed watching the Australian Open on radio and the TV. Didn’t appear to be as hot as other years.
We have tons of snow and it has been brutally cold, but then we are smack into winter here in Canada. Hope you are well, keeping you in my prayers…:-)Hugs
Hi Sara
Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and home, just beautiful!
I hope things have started to improve again for you – sending healing wishes and prayers.
Even though I am here in Western Australia, I would love to be part of your ‘raking team’!
Very nice garden.
Hi Sara
Just beautiful – Thank you for sharing your house and your garden.
Sending healing thoughts …
Hi Sara!
Your place looks like a chefs paradise and a gardeners delight! Finally I get to peg a voice to the writing. You have a great house, every room has a lived in feel. Love it. I would never leave if I had a place like yours.
Cheers
Anna
